M∙A∙C Cosmetics recently released the limited edition M∙A∙C Chris Chang makeup collection. The collaboration with China’s best-known fashion designer, Chris Chang, features an eye-popping, extravagantly colorful cosmetics collection inspired by Poesia, Chang’s vibrant and bold ready-to-wear line.

The Chris Chang X M∙A∙C collection is inspired by the ancient Chinese art form Kunqu. The packaging includes a compact decorated with a colorful, kaleidoscopic pattern, and the products inside the packages are just as vibrant. The line includes, for example, creamy orange lipstick and turquoise eye shadow.

Chang commented: “My inspiration comes from the traditional aesthetics [and]…costumes from various countries, as well as the transformative world of art. Color is the integral fuel of my imagination and the spirit MAC and I share. This collaboration is a dream come true for the maximalists of the world.”
